Whey Protein Pasta
  1. 1 cup unflavored whey protein powder
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  1. Mix all ingredients until well blended.
  2. Wrap the dough in a plastic film and let sit for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Sprinkle your work surface with some more whey protein powder – or flour (if you don’t care for the gluten and the minimal addition of carbs) – and knead for a few minutes.
  4. Roll out your dough at a minimal thickness and cut shapes.
  5. Boil a large amount of salted water. Add the pasta. As soon as it floats, it is ready. If you let boil longer, it gets “too much al dente”.
  6. Strain, add whatever you like, and serve.
